cooking oil pump
running on cooking oil…. help?

been usin a mix of diesel and used oil on my jeep but cold weather makes oil turn thick and gives problems for the lift pump. any solutions?

oh yes!!! try adding a little petrol to the mix in winter time or use a lesser mix. alternatively you can fabricate a new tank for the underside. somewhere between chassis members would be good then re- route the cooling system through the new tank. once this is done you can use one tank for diesel only and other for oil. start and stop car on diesel and just switch over when car is running at normal temp. this should warm the oil enough to stop any probs and helps oil ignite a little quicker. hope this helps. more info you can email.
