Baby Tub Seat
6 month old in a big tub?
When is it okay to put the baby in the big bathtub? My son and I usually take baths together, or I use his bath seat. He is now crawling, sitting great and pulling himself up to a stand… almost to the point where he stands all day lol..
On the baby bath seat it says to discontinue use once the baby starts to pull himself up. He has been in the bath seat since he began pulling up, but hasnt tried to pull himself up yet while in it. He plays with toys and splashes the water instead. I am a little hesitant about putting him in the bathtub all alone. he sits in the tub with me but there is a good amount of water. How much water should I put in the tub if he will be in there alone? an inch??? any other suggestions for taking this step??? He is still little, 6 months, but since he has passed all of these physical milestones it just seems like this is the next step.
Also, I wanted to add that I no long have a “baby tub” … it always got on my nerves. just a bath seat.
I switched my kids into the big tub once they could sit on their own
